Korres Introduces New Natural Anti-Aging Skin Care Products
Korres, targeting "mature" customers, is introducing some new products containing "Quercetin and Oak," citing the oak tree's longevity as a factor in its anti-aging products. Quercetin, or oak tree bark, is said to boost proteasome activity, which decreases as we age. Sephora has exclusive rights to the products, one night cream and two day cream formulations with SPF 10 (one for normal-to-dry skin and the other for normal-to-combination skin).
The night cream ($52), shown here, combines the following active ingredients listed on Sephora.
Regenerative Oak Extract: Firms and plumps aging skin, radically boosting collagen and elastin production;
Quercetin Active: Delivers the most active, well-established polyphenol for maximum antioxidant protection; catalyzes proteasome activity in skin cells, dramatically improving cellular function and creating more youthful, healthy, elastic skin;
Mourera Fluviatilis: Constantly regulates the optimum hydration of the cells, maintaining their health and improving their quality; and
Myrtle Active Extract: Enhances intercellular communication, visibly increasing skin density, protecting collagen fibers, and significantly boosting elasticity.
All without those nasty chemicals, such as parabens and sulfates, that we don't need to absorb!
The day cream ($48), housed in a nice pump container, lists slightly different ingredients, depending on the skin type formulation you select. See Sephora for the day cream ingredient lists.
I love Korres products, and I'm dying to get my hands on the night cream! The products are listed today as "out of stock," but they will be arriving mid-month, and I've put my name on the e-mail list to find out as soon as they are available.
Please let me know what you think if you try them.
