Clinique's Almost Lipstick in Black Honey

Nicole's comment last week made me thing about another old favorite: Clinique's Black Honey Almost Lipstick ($14). I wonder how many slender tubes I have bought over time. This one has to have been invented by a woman!

Almost Lipstick has a unique formulation that gives it a sheer, glossy, lightweight, and moist look and feel. The shade Black Honey is like a chameleon. It looks a bit different on everyone, probably because we all have different natural lip coloration. Described by Clinique as "deep, blackened raisin," it's a grape color on me - the color of the beautiful red grapes I can't resist on the fruit bar. It's perfect for the season about to start.

Read the reviews on Clinique's Web site. We Black Honey wearers are a loyal bunch!

Sephora has an exclusive on a new Black Honey product - Clinique's Superbalm Moisturzing Gloss ($14). I flipped out when it was launched and ordered five (was it six?) of them. Clinique put Black Honey into a squeeze tube loaded with balm and antioxidants, while retaining that wonderful color. Fabulous!

The Black Honey Lipstick is available at Clinque.com or wherever Clinique products are sold. Black Honey Superbalm Moisiturizing Gloss is available at Sephora.

  2. Hi Emma,

Isn't it just fabulous! It works for everyone. How many lipsticks can do that?
