It's hard to believe, and very sad, when someone with so much life left to live is called to heaven. Naomi Sims, widely credited as being the first black supermodel, died on August 1 of breast cancer. The statuesque beauty was a fashion sensation, gracing the covers of major magazines - before she began her successful cosmetics and hair care business.
