Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! I hope your 2010 is happy, healthy, and prosperous. May you achieve your dreams!

Best Things in Beauty is six months old. During these months, I've had a blast, and I'm so grateful to you for making 2009 my year of discovery of our worldwide community and new friends.

There are so many more of you than I anticipated! Many years ago, when blogs were new, I wrote a local blog dedicated to the politics of land use and development. Times have changed! Its readership was negligible. It's not fun to speak without an audience. You, my readers - some of the earliest were Kathy, Nicole, Anna, Lexi, Bonnie, Emma, Hannah, Valerie, Sherry, Lisa, and Cynthia, but there were so many more and too many to name - have made writing fun again. I continue to be amazed at the power of the Internet, Twitter, and other media that are changing the way we live, read, and communicate. Thank you for so faithfully reading Best Things in Beauty.

Tonight's blue moon will usher in a new year and a new decade. Here's hoping it's a great one for all of you!

    Thank you! I'm sure it will. We are on a roll. In fact, UPS should be showing up soon with some boxes of makeup, and I got some of the new Maybelline shadows yesterday. I'm excited.

    I don't remember how I discovered your blog, but I'm so glad that I did. I have enjoyed reading all of your posts these past few months. There are so many wonderful products that I want to try since reading about them on BTIB!
