Giorgio Armani Beauty - ArmaniSilk Lipsticks for Spring 2010

If Giorgio Armani Beauty were a band, I'd be a groupie. If you've been reading Best Things in Beauty, you know I have written glowingly about "everything Armani." The Spring 2010 colors have fanned the flames of my love affair.

There are two new ArmaniSilk lipsticks in the spring collection, and they are both gorgeous. Frozen Pink, #98, shown on the left here, is a stunning true pink with fabulous shine. Rosewood, #99, shown on the right, is a muted coral-toned pink.

While these shades work for any time of year, they will provide a nice, pick-me-up for the change of season. Anyone looking for spring's popular "pretty pinks" will find these shades irresistible.

ArmaniSilk ($25) provides multi-faceted creamy color with an exquisite silky finish. Formulated with an exceptional blend of micro-silk powders, ArmaniSilk creates a veil of rich color that literally glides onto the lips and hydrates nicely.

You might wonder why Armani Beauty chose to introduce these new colors for spring in ArmaniSilk, rather than Rouge d'Armani, their newest lipstick line. Not only is the company committed to ArmaniSilk, they are planning a huge collection of new Rouge d'Armani colors for summer, including lots of new pinks. I can't wait!

If you live in the DC area and are interested in an Armani Beauty event, there is one planned for Friday, January 29. One of Armani's national face designers will be at the Saks Chevy Chase, Maryland store all day. You can call the Armani Beauty Team at Saks at (240) 497-5206 to make an appointment for the event. What a fun way to see the new spring colors!
