Giorgio Armani Beauty Crema Nera OMC3 Giveaway Contest
Congratulations, Valerie H! You won this fabulous prize. There's an e-mail in your box.
Thanks to Loyd Cassler, I have one Giorgio Armani Beauty Crema Nera OMC3 Obsidian Mineral Restoring Cream to give away! This Crema Nera has an SPF of 15 (protecting against both UVA and UVB rays), so it's basically a day cream - lightweight in feel, but with heavy-duty effectiveness. It's priced at $185. Isn't the Armani Beauty Team at Saks Fifth Avenue in Chevy Chase, Maryland, generous?
The targeted anti-aging OMC3 treatment is designed to restructure, replenish, and re-plump the skin for women (and men) concerned with wrinkles, firmness, and sagging. It's perfect, though, for women of all ages. Its active ingredients are the OMC3 complex, a combination of perlite solute, iron, and silicium - the latter two being anti-aging, cell-regenerating minerals; pro-xylane, which stimulates the production of glycosaminoglycans, important to the function of connective tissue; and hyaluronic acid (a must-use topical hydrator). I won't bore you with the biology lesson. This is "good stuff" for the skin!
Crema Nera OMC3 is said to add density, firmness, and structure to the skin by working at three levels: the epidermis, dermo-epidermal junction, and the dermis. Basically, the three essential ingredients in OMC3 are believed to repair the skin by acting on different types of collagen, increasing collagen production. The results? In a four-week test, 81% of the participants experienced increased firmness, 73% experienced a decrease in the appearance of wrinkles (imagine pushing them out from the inside), and 73% had improved density.
How can you win this incredible cream? Just leave a comment here once and tell me what your favorite Best Things in Beauty Armani Beauty blog post has been. There are a lot of them because I love my Armani cosmetics and skin care (just use the "Search This Blog" feature on the right sidebar to find all the "Armani" posts).
After you comment, feel free to e-mail bestthingsinbeautycontests@gmail.com and identify your comment. You can never be too careful about sharing your e-mail address on a blog, so I would follow this second step if I were you (an alternative is to code your e-mail, e.g., myname at gmail dot com, in your comment).
You can "earn" a second entry by tweeting this contest. Just make sure to include "@BTiBeauty" (without the quotes) in your tweet. I will tweet the contest soon, and you can simply retweet it to earn that second entry.
The deadline for entries will be Saturday, August 28, at midnight. The next morning, I will use a random number generator (random.org) to select the winner. I will e-mail the winner at that time. The winner will have 48 hours to reply to my message and provide a shipping address. After 48 hours, the prize will be forfeited, and another winner will be selected. It's hard for me to believe, but I have had two no-show winners in the last few months.
We are going to try something different. This contest is open to anyone anywhere. Here are the terms. I will carefully pack and ship the prize (as I always do). I cannot insure it - it's amazingly expensive to do so. If it leaves the U.S. and it's lost or stolen, I won't be able to replace it with another OMC3. We'll try this once and see how it works. I know some of you suggested that I charge for postage, but I wouldn't feel right about doing that. I'll do my best on this end; let's see if your mail services do right by you on the other end if we have an overseas winner.
Good Luck!
My thanks, once again, to the uber-generous Armani Beauty team at Saks! They take such good care of us.

Oh well...number 1 never wins, but what the heck. I loved your post on "Armani Beauty Lip Shimmer Giveaway Contest" because I've been dying to try some of the Armani Color Cosmetics (can you tell I tried to win?!?!). I would go for "Champagne".

my favorite post was your sex and nudity post where you talked about the controversy with ads nowadays getting more and more risque ;) couldn't agree with you more
ReplyDeleteHi Charlestongirl!
ReplyDeleteHere I am again for the fun of it!
It is difficult to choose one only post since I love all your articles about Armani: as you know I am an Armani-maniac:-)However I would select the one about the last Night viper collection for Fall (August 05) since your swatches showed me perfectly what I could do with the eye-palette I had thought at first would not suit me!
I do not know Crema Nera OMC3 but I guess it must be wonderful, just as wonderful as the generosity of the Armani Beauty team at your Saks! A big cheers to you and them:-)
My favourite was your post on "Armani Beauty Lip Shimmer Giveaway Contest" because I've never tried an Armani item and thought the Lip Shimmers would be the way to go. The "Champagne" colour is right up my alley! LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lisa

ReplyDeleteIt would be perfect for my oily skin. I can't stand my oily skin, even though after I wash my face.
ReplyDeleteI really liked this post: Giorgio Armani Beauty Designer Compact Foundation SPF 22
ReplyDeleteI'm always looking for new foundations, because my skintone is really difficult to match. I was also looking for a good summer foundation. This fit the bill! I knew exactly what to look for at the counter, thanks to your great review.

ReplyDeleteMy fave post of yours is the Giorgio Armani Beauty Night Viper Collection for Fall 2010 - because I'm a blush addict and been wanting to get the new blush of Armani Fall 2010! I like to get this to add to my growing Armani blushes collection!

As much as I love Armani color, my favorite Armani post was Beauty Correctors and Concealors. It reminded me that I had an orange Master Corrector buried somewhere in a drawer. The texture is perfect for this humid summer - it creases much less than the others I've tried.
ReplyDeleteActually it was this one - http://bestthingsinbeauty.blogspot.com/2010/04/giorgio-armani-beauty-crema-nera.html
ReplyDeleteI really like seeing swatches, because makeup always looks so different on skin than it does in a pan or tube. Because of that preference, I'll say that your swatching of the summer Mediterranean is my favorite, with the swatches on Night Viper coming in second.
ReplyDeleteI liked one that is from May: Giorgio Armani Beauty Event with Tim Quinn - and Lexi's Makeover.
ReplyDeleteThe before and after pictures were remarkable.

My favorite post was when you reviewed the new Armani eye palettes(in a circle case) and although you reviewed another color palette combination, which I also loved so very much, after doing some research on the Armani brand, I was immediately drawn to the same palette but in different colors which I fell in love with which is the Bronze Meditteranean Palette. This Palette has to be THE most beautiful palette I have ever seen in my life. The colors are truly to die for and I believe the combination of colors can be worn universally regardless of race, skin tone, age, etc. This is one VERY special work of art. However for $85.00, I'm still saving up for a real special happy occasion or a terribly horrible depressing one where I need something spectacular to make me feel better.
I am new to your blog but I'm a daily reader and love your choice of beauty products to assess as well as your writing style. I know how much time it takes to maintain a blog like yours and how hard you and the other bloggers work to make your fans happy. The giveaways are simply icing on the cake. I, personally, am most appreciative.
