Sneak Peek: Giorgio Armani Beauty Gold Rush Collection for Holiday 2010
Giorgio Armani Beauty will be celebrating the holiday season with the exclusive Gold Rush Collection. This season’s must-have Gold Rush Palette is an allover gold-platinum topcoat to spotlight the eyes and skin with Armani glamour. Additionally, there are three new Rouge d'Armani lip colors in the Gold Rush Collection - perfect for a winter pop of dramatic color.
The Gold Rush Palette ($55) is a soft, universal, sheer, and shimmering beige powder that will light up the face and décolleté with an irresistible gold glow. The sleek, gold and black lacquered signature compact, itself representative of Armani elegance, adds a sparkling note to the seductive collection.
The three new, limited-edition Rouge d’Armani Gold Rush Lipsticks ($30) are intense and vibrant. They will perfectly offset the darker smoky eye for holiday with a subtle metallic finish.
The bright shades of Coral Red (#404), Tibetan Orange (#405), and Fuchsia (#517) complement the colors of the Giorgio Armani Fall-Winter fashion collection. Coral Red (#404) is shown above right. Tibetan Orange (#405) is shown at left. My favorite, Fuchsia (#517), is shown below right.
The Gold Rush Holiday 2010 Collection will be available in November online at the Armani Beauty Web site, Armani Fifth Avenue, and select department stores, including Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, and Barneys. I'll be on the prowl for the Gold Rush Palette. I adore Armani's finely milled powders. Additionally, holiday gift sets will be available - as they always are. My challenge is giving them away. I buy and keep!
Don't forget, if you live anywhere near Washington, D.C., you have an opportunity this week to visit with Tim Quinn, Armani Celebrity Face Designer, at Saks in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Tim's events are a lot of fun - and very popular! If you would like to go on October 7, 8, or 9, you should call the Armani counter at Saks to make an appointment. Their phone number is (240) 497-5206. Let the Armani team help you update your look for fall! Hope to see you there.

Coral red and Fuchsia are gorgeous, I'll have to get them when they are available here! Lucky you, meeting Tim Quinn, having your make up done by him and being given advice....waow!
ReplyDeleteI know...It's a thrill. He is so talented - and so much fun. I wish you could fly over, Clarisse!
ReplyDeleteThe compact is stunning - very classy.
ReplyDeleteHi Marcia,
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to get my hands on it! And the rest of the holiday goodies. Late October/early November, I'm told.
Charlestongirl,
ReplyDeleteHow does one apply the gold powder? Is it a buff, puff, brush?
Hi Miss Brahms!
ReplyDeleteSince I don't have it in my hands, I would guess with either a powder brush or Armani's all-purpose Blender Brush. I will ask Loyd, but since it hasn't arrived in stores, we may have to wait in suspense.
