Apothica $50 Gift Card Giveaway Contest
Did you notice that last month I put up a sponsored link to Apothica.com? I hope you checked it out. Apothica is an online beauty boutique that offers a fabulous array of makeup, fragrance, skin care, hair care, and related products. With brands like Vincent Longo, Shiseido, Smashbox, Stila, Dior, and YSL - to name just a few - the site offers a rich shopping experience and a fun browse.
The nice folks at Apothica (along with their sister sites SkinCareRX and skinbotanica) are sponsoring a giveaway contest for a $50 gift card! One lucky reader will be able to select the prize - or prizes - of her choice from any of the three sites. This is a wonderful opportunity; you could win that item you've been eying, but couldn't fit into your monthly budget. Maybe a fragrance? Not a necessity, but a delightful treat! Need a remedy for dry skin to help you make it through the winter? This is your chance! I love "free money," and I'll bet you do too.
How can you enter to win? It's easy, and there are a bunch of ways. The one thing you have to do is leave a comment here and tell us in your comment what attracts your eye at Apothica (or one of its sister sites). I love vicarious shopping, so please share your wish list with me, even it it's not specific (e.g., I need a new shampoo and conditioner). After you comment, feel free to e-mail bestthingsinbeautycontests@gmail.com and identify your comment. You can never be too careful about sharing your e-mail address on a blog, so I would follow this second step if I were you (an alternative is to code your e-mail, e.g., myname at gmail dot com, in your comment).
You can "earn" a second entry by tweeting this contest. Just make sure to include "@BTiBeauty" and "Apothica" (without the quotes) in your tweet. I will tweet the contest today, and you can retweet it to earn that second entry. Apothica will tweet this contest, and you can retweet their tweet instead. You can earn a third entry by following the blog - either here or on Twitter (any entrant who is already a follower will automatically earn the follower point). I can't track followers through a third-party service, so you need to be on Google's list for me to verify the entry.
You can earn a fourth entry by visiting Apothica's Facebook wall and leaving a note about the site and what you think. Or sign up for their newsletter. Finally, if you have your own blog and mention Apothica, you can win a fifth entry! Write about one of the brands I highlighted above and link to Apothica.
I will need your help with all of these options, so please let me know in your comment(s) the alternatives you used to enter.
The deadline for entries will be Saturday, January 29, at midnight. The next morning, I will use a random number generator (random.org) to select the winner. I will e-mail the winner at that time. The winner will have 48 hours to reply to my message and provide a shipping address for the gift card. After 48 hours, the prize will be forfeited, and another winner will be selected. Make sure to check your e-mail - and look in your spam folder - when the contest ends.
This contest is open to residents of the U. S., Canada, and most countries worldwide. You can see the Apothica shipping policies at this link. If they ship to your country, you can enter - and possibly win!
Good luck!

Thanks for offering this! I like the Apothica site...Stila Illuminating Finishing Powder is calling my name! I like to focus on blush and brighteners in the winter, when my complexion gets so "blah!"
ReplyDeleteI love apothica - what draws my eye to them is how well organized their site is and that they offer paul & joe products! their palettes are so pretty! They also sell the Too Faced Naked Eye Kit - Soft & Sexy which is on my wish list! :)

I didn't know about Apothica--very nice! The site is definitely user-friendly, I love how it's organized to easily find products by skin type, by ingredient, by product type etc. I'd like to indulge my parched winter skin in a rich eye cream...they have several good ones [I'm eyeing DDF, no pun intended.]
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!

I've always wanted to try Alterna hair care but could never justify spending that much. Free money = no justification needed! There are so many nice things at Apothica it's hard to choose, though.

ReplyDeleteI had never heard of this site before, but I think that it is probably a new favorite of mine! I would like to use the certificate to splurge on a skin care product that I normally wouldn't have the money to fork out. I suffer from KP and the Glytone products seem promising enough from the reviews.
ReplyDeletedaring2bdifferent {at} roadrunner {dot} com
I've ordered from their sister site, Skinbotanika, several times and have had great customer service each time. Fast shipping and very helpful representatives when you call, not to mention a fabulous line up of products!
ReplyDeleteI tried Napoleon Perdis Light Weight Creame. I love it. Now I want to try Light Patrol Luminizer Palette

I love that Apothica carry Amy Butler bags! But what I like the most is that skinbotanica has natural and organic beauty products...I have my eyes on a few items from the Makeup section. Overall, I like the simple design of all three sister sites, and that they have a huge offering of products!

I am a makeup novice and, as a grad student, can't afford much makeup. I would love to buy some smashbox eye shadow. I hear it is wonderful and since I have to cut some nonessentials out of my budget, eyeshadow is usually the first to go. I could also definitely go for some bronzer.

This is a great contest! Apothica is new to me, but carries a lot of the lines I'm interested in. If I won the giftcard, I think I would get more from Becca, I've been wanting the shimmering skin perfector for a while now...Or maybe one of her palettes. It's a line I have to order online sight-unseen, so it's always a bit of a gamble! Thanks and glad you are recovering well from your surgery!
