Le Métier de Beauté Crème Fresh Tint for Lip and Cheek - New!

Steady my heart! When I saw the fantabulous Dustin Lujan from Le Métier de Beauté today at Nordstrom, he told me Nordstrom had just unwrapped new Crème Fresh Tints for Lips and Cheeks ($28). There are three colors, and they are all gorgeous. You guessed it - all three came home with me.

My photos were taken hastily the moment I got home. On the top row at left is the pink shade, Mystique. Ginger Lily is next to it (top right). Below is Coral Nymph. Blended out, all three shades work for me - and will work for you. Even if you think you can't wear Mystique when you look at it in the pot, you will see that it brightens the skin when blended. Coral Nymph blends into one of the prettiest corals I have ever seen on my skin. You can always count on Le Métier de Beauté for sheer perfection.

When Dustin did my makeup, he selected Ginger Lily for my cheeks. It adds a touch of neutral pink warmth to my face. I came home and just stared in the mirror. It looks so good I think I'm going to need one for my desk at work in addition to the one that will live in my bathroom.

Here is a swatch photo, taken in full sun. I applied each shade with my finger, and I did not blend the shades into my skin. They blend effortlessly, melting into the skin to flatter your complexion with long-lasting color.

I will show you each shade individually in the pot and blended in the next day or two. I'm just so deliriously happy with them, I wanted to "rush" this short feature into print. I haven't even had time to play with the Crème Fresh Tints on my lips because Dustin selected a new lipstick and lip gloss for me. I have a lot more to tell you about my visit with Dustin. I'll start tomorrow morning.

You can purchase Le Métier de Beauté at Bergdorf Goodman (where you can usually find Dustin), Neiman Marcus, and some Nordstrom stores (such as Pentagon City, where I was this afternoon). You will want to get your hands on at least one of these as soon as possible.

Update 3/14: Le Métier de Beauté said on Twitter that this is available only at select Nordstrom stores. So call ahead.

  1. I can see why you took all 3 home! I'm happy and surprised to see the price point is reasonable for such an exclusive brand.

  2. Hi Pinkribbons!

The price was a nice surprise. I didn't even ask, but saw when I got home that they are beyond reasonable. It is "total" love!

  4. Damnit! Now I have to place another order at Nordstroms. They happen to also have one of the last few Tiger palettes left and since I'm placing an order anyway for one of these beautiful babes, I may as well get the le Metier cream that you can mix with almost anything for your eyes lips cheeks, I forgot the name but you did a write up on that as well. Getting all 3 colors would kill me right now so I think I'll get the coral. You're right, all three are gorgeous but I think I'll start with the coral and see how that looks. I'm sure by tomorrow, I'll have ordered the other 2 as well.I suppose there's very little difference between being a little broke or a little bit more broke. Broke is broke but if I 'm gonna be poor, at least I'll look Fantabulous!

  5. Hey there Dlori,

Nordies online doesn't show these yet. I think you will need to pop over to Bergdorfs.

You are thinking of Magic Lustre?

Yes, LOL, I'm sure there's not much difference between broke and a bit more broke - except for how long it takes to climb out of it. I keep thinking that someday my lottery ticket is going to be the winner. How's that for delusional?

  6. Pretty! How does Ginger Lily compare to Tenne?

  7. Hey there, SB!

Very different - if my memory is good. I will try to find my Tenne and show the comparison in the feature on Ginger Lily I'll be writing.

My problem is that before my surgery I threw most of my makeup in boxes to get it out of the way (so I wouldn't trip over makeup while I was hobbling around). Now, I have to "unpack" all of it. Sigh!

  8. Do you know what's in LMdB Paradise palette (GWP)?

  9. I will try to get a photo of the palette. It's very, very pretty, but the colors are unlabeled, and I would be guessing.

  11. Even I, a non-coral natural, would agree, Carol, that it's a must-have color. It's vibrant and exquisite!

  12. Triple points start on Wed, the 16th, at Nordstrom so it's a great time to see if they have these.
CharlestonGirl - who has the gwp?

  13. Marcia, Nordstrom had the GWP at Pentagon City for Beauty Trends Show. It may be a GWP for the show day only.

  14. do you know if these contain mineral oil? I've been getting conflicting reports and have gotten a chance to go to a counter and check out a box yet.

  15. Hi!

The box does not list mineral oil among the ingredients. :)
