Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day! It's a day to celebrate all those great fathers. I'll bet even the family pets know it!

I tear up every time I think about my father's passing and how much I miss him. So, please give your father a hug from me. I just sent a message to mine in heaven. It's supposed to be a happy day.

  1. I'm, like you, an "orphan", but maybe your father and mine are having a good time together in heaven...mine didn't speak English, but up there it doesn't matter any more, I gues:-)
    Hugs:-)

  2. Hi sweet lady!

I am sure that in heaven, language barriers don't exist. I'm also pretty sure that we found each other through our fathers. :)

    Love to you!

  3. I lost my dad eleven years ago and miss him now as much as when he passed. The thing that gets me through Father's Day is the overwhelming sense of gratitude that he was my father (he was truly one of the kindest men I have ever met) and that one day I will be with him again.

  4. Hi Nancy!

I don't think the heartbreak of losing a parent ever goes away. We do remember the happy times, the funny times, all the love that's just too painful to write on Father's Day.

I'm planning a big reunion. If there's a God, would he deny us that?
