You know that Beauty Week starts Thursday, September 8 (Fashion's Night Out), and runs through September 18. Pre-sale is "on," meaning you can order from your wish list now. To give you a special incentive to check out Le Métier de Beauté's new skin care, eye and lip Kaleidoscopes, and basically everything at one of my all-time favorite beauty counters, Le Métier de Beauté will award one amazing new product to the lucky winner of this contest: a Revive Eye Concentrate ($175).
Revive Eye Concentrate with with Syntoc Actif + HydrationPlus Complexe is an innovative eye treatment that repairs and plumps the delicate skin around the eyes. Using the same exclusive Syntoc Actif delivery system, it offers these key ingredients.
- Hesperidin Methyl Chalcone, which decreases capillary permeability to reduce edema (water retention)
- A dipeptide to improve lymphatic circulation to further reduce edema;
- Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide, a regenerating peptide to improve elasticity and strengthen the skin around the eyes; can slow or inhibit glycation and inflammatory damage
It gets better. Remember when I started a movement to bring back Artemis Liquid Eyeliner, one of the prettiest midnight navy liners I have ever used? The gift with purchase at Neiman Marcus for Beauty Week is none other than...an Artemis Liquid Eyeliner! If you don't recognize it, click on this link. Spend $125 at Neiman Marcus with Le Métier de Beauté, and you'll receive the Beauty Week tote, filled with samples, and an Artemis Liquid Eyeliner.
To enter the giveaway contest, you must make a Le Métier de Beauté purchase of any amount between now and September 18, and you need to comment here, letting us know what you purchased (please list at least one of your goodies, but we'd love to know all the details). Save your receipt because we will need to verify your purchase on September 19, and we may need information from the receipt.
Anyone whose purchases $100 or more in the beauty department (in-store or online) will receive the Neiman Marcus gift. Anyone who purchases $125 or more with Le Métier de Beauté at Neiman Marcus will receive the Artemis Liquid Eyeliner (get in line behind me). In addition, we'll have one lucky contest winner here who will receive a Revive Eye Concentrate (no minimum purchase to enter). I'm excited for you!
Here is the fine print about the contest. You must make a Le Métier de Beauté purchase for Beauty Week (or during and for pre-sale before September 8) at Neiman Marcus and leave a comment on this feature (as explained above). After you comment here, feel free to send me an e-mail at bestthingsinbeautycontests@gmail.com to identify your comment. You can never be too careful about sharing an e-mail address you care about on a blog, so feel free to follow this step (an alternative is to code your e-mail, e.g., myname at gmail dot com, in your comment).
If you have made that purchase, you can earn extra entries. Follow this blog (through an e-mail subscription or though one of the many Google readers - see sidebar at right) to earn a second entry. You don't have to follow to enter. I want everyone to have a chance, but I also want to reward my followers.
You can earn a third entry by tweeting this contest. Just make sure to include "@BTiBeauty" and @MetierBeaute" (without the quotes) in your tweet and mention the giveaway. I will tweet the contest soon, and you can simply retweet it to earn that second entry. Only one tweet will be counted as an entry.
The deadline for entries will be Sunday, September 18, when Neiman Marcus closes. The next day, I will use a random number generator (random.org) to select the winner from those who commented (counting the extra entries too). I will e-mail the winner on Sunday. The winner will have 48 hours to reply to my message and provide receipt information and a shipping address in the United States. (After 48 hours, the prize will be forfeited, and another winner will be selected. Make sure to check your e-mail - and look in your spam folder - when the contest ends.) We will verify the winner's purchase with Neiman Marcus, and Le Métier de Beauté will send out the Revive Eye Concentrate.
Don't have a Neiman Marcus nearby? Our friends at the DC-area Le Métier de Beauté counters can help you. At Tysons Galleria, give Sales Associate Kathy Shoreman or Lisa Corsino (Le Métier de Beauté Specialist) a call. Kathy's cell phone is (571) 212-8399. You can reach Lisa by calling (703) 761-1600 and asking for the Le Métier de Beauté counter. At Mazza Galleria, give Michael Reinhardt (Le Métier de Beauté Specialist) a call at (202) 966-9700. Don't miss out on this contest just because you don't have a Neiman Marcus near you.
I'll remind you before the contest ends. Good luck!

Hello and thanks for your wonderful blog. Do you know if the giveaway will include online Le Metier purchases made during Beauty Week?
ReplyDeleteThanks, MKDalllas,
ReplyDeleteYes, if it's online at Neiman Marcus. Save your receipt!
Cheers!
Thank you for this generous giveaway. I have already been to my local NM to take advantage of the presale. I selected the following Le Beaute items: the new Silk Roads Kaleidoscope Eye Palette, a nail polish in Urban Dweller, Sweet Creme Lipgloss, Sheer Brilliance Gloss in Bali, and the crease eye brush. The Sales Associate kindly gave me a sample of the new eye cream and it is, indeed, lovely. Thank you! ejford at uci dot com
ReplyDeleteOh what a treat someone will get with this lovely offering. Le Metier is a spectacular line!

Nice choices, Anahita!
ReplyDeleteDo I need a neiman marcus card of any sort to be able to get the gift during beauty week? As you can probably tell, no NM near me.. NYC =/ People always assume we get everything.. no Nordstrom here either..
ReplyDeleteHi Az,
ReplyDeleteNope! I don't have a NM card either. I use my AmEx card.
All goodies are availabe to non-cardholders for Beauty Week.
Well, thanks to your helpful photos and rave review about the blue eyeliner, I just bought the following items online at NM (and got the eyeliner as a gift, yay!): Corinthian & JoJo eyeshadows, Creme Fresh tints in Gingerlily and Coral and Lip Creme in Peche. I will save my receipt in case I am fortunate enough to win the lovely giveaway and will email you with my email address and comment ID. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteI made my purchase yesterday! Whisper blush, the blush brush, one of the marchesa duo gloss, bali sheer brilliance gloss... i think that is it but could be more lol

I picked up the Empress Lip Kaleidoscope (what a great red in there!) as well as Plum eyeshadow, and two of the Ken Downing lipstick/ nail polish duos!
ReplyDeleteMy email is bstraszheim at gmail. dot com and I also follow via Feedburner.
Thanks for the giveaway!
Hi, I went to Tysons today and had a great makeover from Erin Lockard. I purchased the Empress Kaleidosope, Innocent & Midnight Sky eyeshadow, and a Noir eye liner. I am so excited about the Artemis eyeliner, it's beautiful! Thanks for the givaway!

Hi love! What a great giveaway! I purchased Cap d'antibes brilliance gloss yesterday. Love!
ReplyDeleteI follow through a reader (feedburner I believe) using email: cmarielmbrt at aol dot com (which can also be my email for the contest)
I purchased Corinthian eyeshadow (hopefully it doesn''t backorder this time!) I also ordered the blush brush and the large concealer brush. Can't wait to try the eyeliner. I love their black felt tip one:)
ReplyDeleteI didn't think I would be qualifying for your giveaway, but after visiting NM yesterday, I do and I'm so excited! I have been going back and forth over whether or not to splurge and get the Penelope kaleidoscope and there was one left, so it was meant to be! I also picked up the champagne dualistic eye pencil. So excited! The SA gave me a sample of the day creme which I'm trying today and Wow!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I also follow your blog.

I made my purchase @ niemanmarcus.com - silk road kaleidoscope and thailand lipstick. I can't wait for it to arrive this friday.
ReplyDeleteI follow you through email and just tweeted as well.

thanks!!!!!!!!!! xx
I am a new fan of LMDB and love it! I'm embarrassed to say what I've purchased because it is a long long list. I've purchased the night and day creams, the Kabuki brush, foundation ... that doesn't even get to the eye palette or lips!
ReplyDeleteThe products I've tried feel great and my skin has never looked better.

Well I was trying so good to hold out and not order a bunch of stuff but I did! I ordered the 3 new Creme Fresh Tint shades and the 4 nail polishes and the Empress Lip Kaleidoscope from the Fall collection from Neiman Marcus online. I am officially insane!
ReplyDeleteI'm a GFC follower PerilouslyPale and I am also tweeting the contest for the 2 extra entries. Fingers crossed! I certainly can't afford that incredible eye cream now!
PerilouslyPale (at) gmail (dot) com.
Except they ran out of Artemis on pretty much the first day so I have the lip palette coming instead. Probably the same one I already have 2 of :-( I really wanted Artemis :-(
ReplyDeleteI got to talk to Lisa Corsino to help me with my shade selection. I ordered Peau Vierge Shade 2 online, though, to get the Marchesa giveaway. Can't wait to receive it!
ReplyDeleteHi, love your blog! I made 2 separate LMdB purchases during Beauty week. muthaiga at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteI was in Houston on business and had some free time Tuesday night. There were tons of people there for the fashion event. I picked up a few great things at LMdB: Uma Paro lip gloss & Lip Creme in Framboise. I also got nail polish in Dionysus (the most amazing color). Thanks to a quick tutorial from the artist I got the precision eyeliner which I absolutely love. It makes the best thin black line ever. I'm normally challenged when it comes to lining my upper lash line with anything liquid. I'm fairly new to LMdB. I think eye shadows or a Kaleidoscope are next on my list.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this awesome giveaway!! I was going to order the eye cream, but I'll just keep my fingers crossed and maybe I'll win!! I purchased the creme lip glass and nail polish in peony for my daughter ( I love it that it is free of bad chemicals!)

Awesome giveaway! I made my mother buy one but couldn't do it for myself just yet. :P
ReplyDeleteI bought the Empress lip kit, Chameleon, Spicy, and Rose Champagne e/s when I met Kayla at Neimans a few days ago :)
messywands at gmail dot com
I've really gotten into makeup and beauty blogs (yours is one of the best) the last couple of months, and a few weeks ago I went to Neiman Marcus Tysons Corner to snag the Silk Road Kaleidoscope Kit, and ended up getting a makeover at the LMdB counter. I was so impressed that I bought the Thailand lipstick and Water Sapphire eyeshadow on the spot. For the Beauty Event, I ordered Corinthian and Alexandrite eyeshadows in addition to the Silk Road nail lacquers online. I'm excited to receive them in person. I haven't tried the eye concentrate yet, but it sounds intriguing. code . epic at gmail . com
