Thanks to a super-friend, I have a YSL Beauté Ombres 5 Lumières (5 Colour Harmony for Eyes) in Parisian Sky ($56) to give away. It's a new tester, meaning it was intended to slip into a YSL counter display. As a result, it has no metal compact - much like the Clé de Peau eye shadow refills I purchase to save money. They come in plastic, like this one, with a flip-up top.

This versatile palette of shadows offers four captivating colors and finishes, ranging from shimmer to sheen and metallic to matte, with one coordinating highlighter. All shades harmoniously blend to create any look you like - from soft and subtle to dazzling and dramatic. The silky, long-wear formula has an optical smoothing effect that reveals "breathtakingly radiant color that looks luminous in any lighting."


Parisian Sky (#9) is filled with fantasy blues and pinks, with what appears to be chocolate mauve for an accent and a pink-lavender highlighter. You'll be a princess in this one. I had to take my photo with a heavily overcast sky. As a result, you can't see the life in the shades as well as I'd like - sorry.

The deadline for entries will be Saturday, November 26, at midnight. The next day, I will use a random number generator (random.org) to select the winner. I will e-mail the winner on Sunday. The winner will have 48 hours to reply to my message and provide a shipping address. After 48 hours, the prize will be forfeited, and another winner will be selected. Make sure to check your e-mail - and look in your spam folder - when the contest ends.

This contest is open to anyone anywhere. Here are the terms. I will carefully pack and ship the prize (as I always do). I cannot insure the prize for overseas shipment - it's amazingly expensive to do so because of the way I have to send insured mail. If it's lost or stolen in transit, I may not be able to replace it with another prize just like it. I'll do my best on this end; let's see if your mail service does right by you on the other end if we have an overseas winner. Lately, my shipping luck has improved significantly.
