Chanel Lèvres Scintillantes Glossimer and Le Vernis from Roses Ultimes de Chanel for Spring 2012

The new Chanel Lèvres Scintillantes Glossimers ($29.50) from the Roses Ultimes de Chanel are available at Chanel's Web site. Six limited-edition shades beckon. Also available are four new limited-edition pink shades for nails.

I hope to receive my new treasures tomorrow. I ordered the Lèvres Scintillantes Glossimer in Désire (#168) and Jalousie (#169). For nails, I decided to try Frisson (#543), the light pink stunner shown at the top of this feature. Once I see the shades, I might purchase more.

These new beauties should be arriving at Chanel counters soon. If you can't wait, now you know where you can find them. The exclusive Knightsbridge Collection is also available at Chanel's Web site.

  6. It's such a pretty little "interstitial" collection. I remember seeing this last fall in Chanel's preview book and thinking this bouquet of roses would round out the spring collections so beautifully. I wonder if the "white" topper shade is similar to Aragonite from last year? That was such a beautiful and versatile glossimer.

  8. Hi Charlestongirl!

Another Monday down but at least we have some pink cheer. Oh yes, I love pink (and red). Well, except for pastel pink which makes me look washed out. :) I must have at least one!

  13. Hi JF! Where do you live? Surely you can order Chanel online from somewhere?

  14. The nail lacquer on the left in the promo pic looks so pretty. I think I'm more excited about the nail shades more than the glossimers.

  16. Hi Suselaw!

Missed your comment last night. In the universe of makeup, there are few unique shades. If you try hard enough, you can always find dupes from someone, somewhere. Where's the fun in that? :)

  19. There's always a similar color, but Chanel always manages to tweek their colors so that it's slightly different and prettier, my opinion. This is especially true of most of their nail polishes. I usually end up caving on most of them. I'll probably cave on Tentation, the deep pink polish in the photo!
