The color is pink infused with peach. You can see both shades on the display photo below. Placed side by side next to the Terracotta Sun in the City Golden Glimmer Powder (the one I featured yesterday), they grabbed my attention. I've developed a fondness for liquid blushes and highlighters; they are sheer and natural. Sunny Pink hit the spot.
Sunny Pink will definitely appeal to those with fair skin. Anyone whose skin is darker should be able to wear the companion shade, Spicy Coral. Try them. See what you think. I thought Sunny Pink was a must-have.
I think Sunny Pink is sumptuous. The color is shimmering and irresistible on my skin. It screams summer, ripe fruit, and glamour. I am seriously smitten. The Spicy Coral shade is too dark for me. Otherwise, I might have had to purchase both shades. I love the color, texture, blendability, and overall effect of Sunny Pink. I've fallen head over heels.
Pardon me while I go off and stare at my Terracotta Blush. Maybe I'll stand it up next to my keyboard. I think Guerlain has scored again. What do you think? Study the color and imagine your summer look, whether for work or play, complemented by warm, glowing, sunlit cheeks.
I purchased my Terracotta Blush Sun Shimmer Highlighter at Neiman Marcus during Beauty Event. If your favorite Guerlain counter doesn't have the Terracotta Sun in the City Collection, it will soon. I have one more new piece to show you - hopefully tomorrow.

This is the perfect blush! I am so " in love" with the summer collection from Guerlain.
ReplyDeleteThis looks amazing and easy to use. I'll definitely check it out when I see it. Thank you for telling us about this glorious looking product. Can I get a hug too? :-D
ReplyDelete(((Hugs))) Lovethescents!
ReplyDeleteHi Flyavsted! I'm smitten too, Guerlain is one of my most-favorite brands.
ReplyDeleteSunny Pink is just outstanding! I love transparent, shimmery colors for summer. For that reason, my summer darling last year was Chantecaille's Biwa. This year, Guerlain will have the honor. The golden pearl in the pink base is just breathtaking. And, being Guerlain, I know I won't have to worry about the shimmer being anything less than elegant. I stopped by the Guerlain counter yesterday to pester the delightful SA and remind her to call me as soon as this first installment of Summer 2012 arrives. So far, Guerlain is off to a great start.
ReplyDeleteHi,Charlestongirl! I don't have Neiman near me.Since you saw those blushes, what color would you recommend.I have dark hair and peaches and cream skin tone.Thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteHi Eileen!
ReplyDeleteHasn't Guerlain become one of our must-buy brands?
Hi Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteBuy this product, Sunny Pink. If you have fair skin, you will find the darker one too dark, as I did.
BTW, I kind of hate the new format for comments. Why does Blogger keep messing with things that already work?
ReplyDeleteI guess I've become a change-resister.
Hi Charlestongirl, I have to say your blog has create many many lemmings! I love your swatches of the new Guerlain collection, everything looks so good. Sunny Pink looks just heavenly. I know I'll be getting that when it reaches Singapore shores. I'm between a NC30-35 myself, do you think that Coral would be too dark?
ReplyDeleteGosh, Jacqueline,
ReplyDeleteI'm not a MAC girl. I never have any idea what people mean when they use MAC colors to identify their skin tones. However, I did buy some dynamite blushes recently. Must feature them!
I'd say the coral shade is best for medium to dark skin.
I am a huge fan of liquid & cream blush, as long as it doesn't clog my pores. I am pale, but I'm always told that when I wear pink blush, I have a red face.
ReplyDeleteIf this new blush is transparent, how dark could the other shade be?
Lovely! I am highly anticipating this one. Guerlain really nail it with almost every collection, don't they?
ReplyDeleteI wonder how it compares to the Clarins Instant Light Blush...
I've never tried Guerlain's bronzer before, even tho' it seemed to be the industry standard for many years, until Bobbi Brown came along with her non-shimmer bronzers. These look beautiful!
ReplyDeletep.s. Thanks for doing all of the "legwork" for us!! We appreciate you<3
Christina, VERY dark.
ReplyDeleteHi Maggie,
ReplyDeleteIt's very similar.
Thanks, MamaVal!
ReplyDeleteI think Bobbi's and Guerlain's bronzers are both must-haves. Give Guerlain a go. I think you'll see a different dimension.
