Rouge Bunny Rouge New Mistral Look for Summer 2012

Rouge Bunny Rouge has new colors! The news of the Mistral Collection excited me and sent me zooming to Zuneta and Beautyhabit to shop.

Fresh as dew in early summer mornings, our Mistral Look presents a diaphanous, light, breathing collection for complexion and lips, utterly soft and juicy like freshly washed, ripe fruits. The lightly flushed cheeks and the new subtle eye makeup with its gentle pastels, mauve-taupe and pale powdered pink, fit perfectly with the naturally balanced, slightly sun-kissed look.

Mistral showcases the dessert-like Glassy Glosses in five new scrumptious colors that will sparkle your lips with a jeweled effect. The new formula is ultra-glossy, combining a non-sticky feel with intense moisturizing properties that will have an immediate effect on dry lips. The five new shades all have a pink hue. Naturally all of them appealed to me.

A new Blush Wand shade, Titan, is available. It's an elegant, classic shade that blends for a nude and very natural color - promised to enliven your face with a subtle, youthful shine. The shade is beige-rose with a hint of peach. It sounds perfect, the reason I ordered it.

There are also two new Long-lasting Eye Shadows: Sweet Dust Seriema and Bashful Flamingo. Bashful Flamingo, a pale powder pink, will give your eyes a very fresh appearance, while Sweet Dust Seriema, a matte, semi-opaque, cool, dusty mauve-taupe, will deepen your look with a dusty taupe.

Visit http://www.rougebunnyrouge.com/ for a peek at the new shades and detailed product/color descriptions. Then head over to Zuneta or Beautyhabit to order your favorites.

  1. I think I may just finally cave and place my first order for RBR eye shadows! But I just went on Zuneta, and they don't seem to have the new eyeshadow shades showing yet? Could you please point me in the right direction, in case I'm just missing them? Thank you :)

    1. Anonymous, unless Zuneta has changed their website recently, you'll find those eyeshadows under the RBR Matte eyeshadows.

  2. Thank you BooBooNinja, really appreciate it :)!!! Still missing the Sweet Dust Seriema though, somehow??? Sigh, sometimes I really feel hopeless, but I have had a long week (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it, lol)...

  3. This color palette is a lovely rendition of dawn's misty, pearly pink light. This is the type of look I'd love to wear to brunch. It's soft but still hints at a warm summer day to come.

  4. Ohhh those glassy glosses look so pretty! I may just cave and grab them as well as the new blush wand in Titan! :-)

  5. Hi Anonymous -- no problem. I'm happy to help. :)
You're not hopeless! I checked the Zuneta site and you're right that SDS isn't showing up. Unfortunately, this means SDS is currently sold out. :(

  6. Hi Anon,
You will find sweet dust seriema on Beautyhabit. They seem to be in stock. Never ordered from them before, but they are based in the US.

  7. Hi all, currently, Zuneta doesn't list it, which means it is sold out or hasn't arrived. It will reappear. If you are in the US, best source is Beautyhabit for that one. You were all busy shopping while I slept. BooBoo, Jane, thanks for helping Anon!

  8. Eileen, did you look at that model's cheekbones? Her bone structure is gorgeous.

  9. Hi Shelnmum,

You'll be replicating my order. :)

  10. Thank you so so much everyone, really appreciate all the help :). In the end I will order from both Zuneta and Beautyhabit, as out of the 4 eye shadows I want, each only has 3. Zuneta has the Volcano Fairy Wren I want, but Beautyhabit has the SDS :)

Charlestongirl, I love all of your reviews, but this is a dangerous place, lol!

  13. This is having me drooling. Love the model's look, and am still hoping to get my hands on RBR.....I don't think I realized Beautyhabit had their range? I must compare Zuneta's prices. WANT!!

  14. I have not crossed over to RBR...yet. I've drooled over previous pictures & told myself I had colors that were similar & need to use some things up first. However, after watching the video & seeing several others around the blogosphere raving abt the 2 new matte shadows I'm feeling a bit weak at the knees. : ) As I'm reading comments it looks like the best place for a US purchase is through Beautyhabit? Please help get a newbie steered in the right direction. Not quite ready to pull the trigger but have a feeling it is going to be soon. CG - Saw your tweet - sounds like you had a splendid day @ NM! Glad you had some time to decompress just for you!
And yes, the model's cheekbones are gorgeous! If I get everything in the video I'll look just like her, right?!!!! JK ; )

  16. Hi Lovethescents,

Just recently, Beautyhabit started carrying RBR - about the same time Zuneta started carrying LMdB. Works for all of us.

  17. Hi Lov2read,

No doubt! I'm hoping to look like that within a week.

There really is something magical about RBR. Don't think you have a dupe. You don't. I can't explain it. Just try a few things. Then you'll be hooked like the rest of us.

  18. Oh and, Love2read,

BH has most of the new collection on pre-order. I ordered at Zuneta because they had the things I wanted the most ready to roll. I paid about $7 for shipping - a wash in the grand scheme of things.

  19. Just wanted to say that I just discovered that Zuneta has free international shipping, no minimum, until 5 june - code FREESHIP30

Thank you for the warm welcome CG :) - I'm definitely in, but need to find a better name to post than anonymous, lol (still the same anonymous who was looking for the eyeshadows!)

  20. Nevermind, I didn't manage to make the coupon work, weird as it's advertised on their website? Oh well, as you said CG, it's worth it (I hope ;)!)!

  21. It looks like the Free International Shipping applies to orders over
    £30 (approx $46 USD)?
Thanks for the information on both Zuneta & Beautyhabit.
CG - I do get what you are saying about me not having any dupes in my current collection. I have had that thought in the back of my head for how long I've been reading about the brand - that it really is different from everything else. : )

  22. Okay - now I'm seeing where you see the free international shipping this jubilee weekend by using FREESHIP30.

  23. I still have yet to try anything from RBR--but I've heard SO many good things!! The only thing stopping me is the fact that I don't really like purchasing cosmetics online. I prefer to be able to look at and touch the product before buying. But I guess with the amount of rave reviews RBR gets, I will most likely love pretty much anything I order from them!

  24. Hi everyone! This is my first post but I am here everyday looking at all the beautiful products and great reviews. Thanks, CG. But this...ah, my heart skipped a beat when I saw these RBR products. So me! I got some really disappointing news last night so I may just have to order all of these to lift my spirits (yea, yea...but it's a great excuse, huh?).

Thanks so much, CG, for all you do. I absolutely adore everything you recommend. Maybe next time I'm up you're way, we can shop and you can put me in the poor house. LOL! I'm just in the state below you. DANGER, WILL ROBINSON! (oh, am I showing my age?).

  25. Darn! I looked for a free shipping offer when I ordered, but didn't find one. Oh well, shipping wasn't all that expensive.

  26. Hi again, Anonymous!

See how helpful all my wonderful readers are? They all know their stuff too. Need a discount ever? Just ask! Someone will usually come through.

  27. I totally understand, Yesplease, that it's more fun (and productive) to shop in person. But a girl has to do what a girl has to do to get her hands on RBR. :)

  28. Hi Suki,

Welcome to debtor's prison, where we will all look fabulous, even in bright orange jumpsuits. :)

  29. Oh, Chalestongirl! You are so funny :-) And, you know, orange is so my color! LOL

Enjoy the rest of the weekend, everyone.

  30. The graphics on the web site are so beautiful. Iersonally, I find the Alice in Wonderland fantasy is over used and a bit silly. The make up is lovely and I want all of it! What I really want is that model's skin and the deft hands of the make up artist.
    Thank you for sharing,
    Vanessa
