Chanel Les Vernis in Malice from the Éclats du Soir de Chanel Holiday 2012 Collection

The vixen wears red - deep, dark red with an air of mystery. The deep black-red Les Vernis ($26) nail lacquer in Malice (#637), a limited edition, is the perfect shade to transform you into a vixen.

Malice is the most dramatic, lust-worthy red nail lacquer I've seen in years. The blue-red shade is stunning. How else do you describe the perfect dark red?

Any flaws you may see in my swatch photos are due to my application techniques. I'm working to perfect them, but I've got a ways to go. I took my swatch photos in full sun. This morning's clouds gave way to sunshine, allowing me an opportunity to take these photos.

Imagine. You are going to a black-tie ball or holiday party. You want to look elegant and glamorous - even sexy. Your gown (or perhaps a black tuxedo jacket with trousers, the menswear look) is gorgeous. Your jewelry is eye-catching. You'll be wearing a ring that will draw attention to your hands. Shouldn't your nails be perfect too? Wear Malice! You might even add a splash of N°5.

Perhaps you're attending Homecoming and you want to impress without looking like you're trying too hard. Your open-toed shoes give anyone who looks down a peep at your beautiful toes. Won't Malice telegraph an elegant sense of style? You've come a long way, baby!

My friends, Malice is going to sell out. I'd recommend you find yours now. It has not made its entrance at Chanel.com, but you can find the Éclats du Soir de Chanel Holiday 2012 Collection at most of the department stores. I purchased mine at Neiman Marcus.

Update: I just saw The Beauty Look Book's Malice feature. You must visit Sabrina. That kitten is as pretty as Malice.

OT, but do you know the name of the lipstick the model is wearing (or a similar color from a different line)?

    Thank you!
