Can you believe the limited-edition Versailles Compact? It's the superstar of the collection. The embossed relief of an architectural detail from the famous Château de Versailles is worth the price of admission.

ReplyDeleteI already have Évasion and Rose Pétal from last year, but the compact is stunning. I wonder if it is a pale gold with a rose pearl, or a pink with a gold over-spray, or . . . Whatever it is, it sure is gorgeous.

ReplyDeletehi! do you know when there will be information on the "regular" chanel spring collection for 2013? it seems like this collection has been "slipped under the rug" while this new collection plus the one from asia are promoted. both, unattainable to me. please let me know as my fall products are "hitting the silver pan". i didn't care for holiday. loving that chanel ad campaign above! that's cara delvigne(spelling, i know is incorrect). she's also a victoria secret model and the burberry model and, i believe she's 19. she'd make anything look gorgeous. i'm feeling alone lately...that's the ugliest palette...pink heavy eyeshadow. i wish peter philips would retire. loved the makeup before he came. oh well...please let me know if you get any info about spring. thankyou very much!!! xxx

ReplyDeleteAnon, I've seen pictures of Chanel Spring online. It's a soft look with pink lips and yet another stunning compact. This one looks to be a highlighter and has the intertwining Cs. I'm hearing this month for the collection, but also January, so perhaps it's a location thing.
I've also seen photos of Chanel's Summer 2013 (April release, I believe)--and it's bright and bold at least in the photos. A new stick eyeshadow too.
Yuk.

I have seen the ad photos a month ago at my Chanel counter. They told me there is only 5 pieces coming from each limited item to them and they can't reserve. I am living in Germany for the record and I don't have high hopes on getting my hands on any of those *big sigh*
