Coming Attraction: Le Métier de Beauté Eye Shadow Palette for Spring 2013

I know nothing about Le Métier de Beauté's sneak peek for Spring 2013. I saw this photo pictured on the company's Facebook page today. I thought you non-Facebook friends might want to see the eye palette.

Update: Got some unofficial scoop on this baby. The price is $95. Let's show my source, Michael Reinhardt, some love. If you want to pre-order, call him at Neiman Marcus at (202) 966-9700, extension 2258 or 2236.

  7. Does the palette come with shadows in it or is it one of those like MAC's where it's an empty palette and you have to fill?

  8. Holy sweet potatoes. This is what my soul would look like manifested as an eyeshadow palette. Love it!

  10. Woah. Woah. Woah.
This is incredible. Are these eyeshadows the same size as the regular ones?
    My heart is going pitter-patter!

  17. These are not new colors are they? Is it what is in the current singles line up? I have all of those. Oh the $ money I could have saved buying just this palette rather than the singles....

  19. Whaaaaat?!! I NEED this palette! I thought it would be at LEAST $150 but $95 isn't bad at all. Maybe this will finally be my very first LMdB purchase!! :D

  20. I saw this palette on the Le Metier facebook page yesterday and almost fell off my chair. It's one of those very special products that come around every once in a while. Although I've never met a Le Metier product I didn't love, this palette is too beautiful for words. When I saw it on facebook, I thought for sure it would cost about $500, computing the number of eyeshadows and the cost per shadow at regular size. I'm very, very happy that I was so far off the mark. I especially LOVE the 2 greens in the last row.

A few years ago, Bobbi Brown released a gorgeous palette containing about 35 eyeshadows, I think. When I received it, the eyeshadows were the size of a dime. However, the colors were fabulous and highly pigmented so I did get plenty of use from the palette. Do you have any idea what the size of each eyeshadow will be?

Thank you for featuring this incredible palette. I can't wait to see your beautiful swatches. If I was a betting woman, I'd say you have already placed your order for at least 3 or 4 of them. This really is a special palette, in my opinion.

My ONLY New Year's Resolution was to spend MUCH less money on beauty products this year. It's only 2 weeks into January and I'm already in trouble. I just don't think I have the willpower to pass this one up. Well, if I'm going to be poor, at least I'll look fabulous!

  21. Diori's comment made me laugh. I too swore to cut way back on beauty expenses this year but I too am in trouble already! Heaven help us! At least Spring is my favorite season so hopefully I'll be able to settle down and not snatch up so many pretties!

  22. Hi Meredith,

Seems like ever since I made my ONE New Year's Resolution, the Spring collections for all the high end lines have already been previewed. Everywhere I turn, I'm inundated with Must have products; beauty here, beauty there, beauty everywhere, whispering my name, saying "Buy Me, You need me, You must have me or you'll regret it".

Each season, I'll fall in love with one or two collections but wouldn't you know it, the Spring 2013 collections for almost ALL the high end brands are irresistible. I NEVER make New Year's Resolutions but who would figure that the one year I do, G-d decides to test my willpower.

Well, as a semi intelligent professional woman, I have to get my priorities straight.

After reading Charleston Girl's fabulous review of Le Metier's new CHEM60 Pro-Peel & Glow10ai Mask Set as well as reading about this Le Metier palette today, I have no choice but to purchase them. As a matter of fact, I'm going to Bergdorf's in Manhattan this weekend for a complimentary treatment and with a $200 Le Metier purchase, you not only get a free promotional black eye liner, which usually costs $42 for a regular size product, but you also get an incredible beauty bag filled with the best products I have ever seen in a promotional bag.

As a mature adult, I recognize that I can't afford to purchase all these beauty products and also buy food. As such, it appears that I'll be dropping some weight in the next few months. Thankfully, I'm only accountable to myself.

It's so hard to be a Beauty Junkie!
