Le Métier de Beauté Summer Night's Dream Kaleidoscope Eye Kit Giveaway Contest

As promised in my last feature, here is the Le Métier de Beauté Summer Night's Dream Kaleidoscope Eye Kit ($95) giveaway contest. I'm excited that one of you will win this treasure. I have it here, donated by Le Métier de Beauté.

Here are the four rules for entry. Please make sure to satisfy at least three of them. The only optional entry is Facebook or Twitter (vs. both) in the four entry criteria. You need to do at least one of the two, like on Facebook or tweet, as described below. Satisfying both will be even better.

1. Please leave a comment on this giveaway post. After you comment here, feel free to send me an e-mail at bestthingsinbeautycontests@gmail.com (the contest address, not my "personal" e-mail) and identify your comment. You can never be too careful about sharing an e-mail address you care about on a blog, so feel free to follow this step (an alternative is to code your e-mail, e.g., myname at gmail dot com, in your comment). Please make sure we have your e-mail. If we can't notify you, you can't win - even if your entry is selected. A comment here is NOT the only way to enter. You must also follow through on #2 or #3 and #4.

3. Follow Le Métier de Beauté on Twitter (if you are already following, great). Their "handle" is @MetierBeaute. We know that everyone doesn't have a Facebook and Twitter account. Additionally, on Twitter, please leave a tweet with "@MetierBeaute" (without the quotes) and the hashtag #SummerNight with your favorite summer night memory. This should be fun.
4. Subscribe to Le Métier de Beauté's Beauty Vault newsletter at this link (upper left corner on the home page).

That's all there is to it. The deadline for entries will be Sunday, June 9, 2013, at midnight. Once the contest has ended, Le Métier de Beauté will select the winner, who will have 48 hours to reply to the e-mail notification and provide a shipping address. After 48 hours, the prize will be forfeited, and another winner will be selected. Make sure to check your e-mail - and look in your spam folder - when the contest ends.

This contest is open to anyone anywhere. Here are the terms. I will carefully pack and ship the prize (as I always do). I cannot insure the prize for overseas shipment - it's amazingly expensive to do so because of the way I have to send insured mail. If it's lost or stolen in transit, I may not be able to replace it with another prize just like it. I'll do my best on this end; let's see if your mail service does right by you on the other end if we have an overseas winner. Please provide a good address. Today, I received a prize returned to me because the winner never claimed it.

The winner must be able to provide us with a "mailable address," meaning the U.S. Post Office recognizes it or its street, province, and other "elements" the way the winner provides them. I've had some trouble with both U.S. and international addresses.
