Coming Soon: Bobbi Brown's New Eye Shadow Collection

Inspired by requests from fans, including makeup artists, Bobbi Brown has perfected her eye shadow collection to create the most diverse shade range for all skin tones. The collection now includes 24 new shades available in matte, metallic, sparkle, and shimmer formulas, providing women with more shade options and textures from which to choose. According to Bobbi, “A touch of sparkle instantly transforms any look into something more special."

Housed in a sleek, flip-top compact, each shadow can be used individually or popped into a handy customizable palette (sold separately) that's perfect for a woman on the go.

Sparkle Eye Shadow ($32 - but I really think this is a typo in the press information) is Bobbi’s unique featherweight formula that offers up to eight hours of wear without creasing or fading. Featuring a combination of multi-dimensional shimmering pearls and glitter, it instantly brightens the eyes with pure, sparkling color. This superbly soft powder shadow glides on smoothly and effortlessly. The shades are Silver Moon, Ballet Pink, Mica, Sunlight, Cement, Taupe, Pebble, Silver Lilac, and Smokey Quartz.

Eye Shadow ($22) is a collection with sophisticated shades ranging from subtle nudes to rich dramatic shades. This exclusive, silky, matte formula glides on easily and is everyday wearable. The shades are Banana, Mulberry, Cool Ivory, Antique Rose, Khaki, Saddle, Camel, Rich Espresso, Rich Navy, and Rich Caviar.

Shimmer Wash Eye Shadow ($22) offers just a touch of luminosity on the eye. Nothing compares to Bobbi’s lightly pearlized Shimmer Wash Eye Shadow. Specially coated pigments offer long-lasting, crease-free wear, while talc and mica provide blendable, smooth, and even application. There is one shade available: Pink Chiffon. I'm not sure why if it's incomparable.

Metallic Eye Shadow ($22) provides high-pigment color with intense pearl-like shimmer. Each shade applies smoothly and evenly, and stays crease-free for eight hours of flawless wear. The shades are Balsam and Lapis.

The collection will be available in August at all Bobbi Brown counters and Bobbi Brown's Web site.

  1. I think the Sparkle Eye Shadows are in fact, $32, its up now on Bobbi Brown's website! A little steep considering the Dior Monos and Burberry ones are all less than $30. I do love Bobbi Brown so I might pick up some from the regular range, if there are new shades in this collection :)

  2. I'm pleased to read that BB is revamping her eyeshadow collection. It's long over-due. It had become stale over the years in both color and formulation and a bit stodgy overall. The newer, smoother, creamier, more long wearing shadow formulations that other comparable lines were bringing out were leaving hers in the dust. So, good for Bobbi. It was time for an update. I'll be looking forward to seeing the new collection.

  4. LOVE these and all of Bobbi's advertising! I respectfully disagree, Eileen, on Bobbi's formula and colors. I don't know of another line (with the exception of MAC) that has as many eyeshadow colors and formulations as Bobbi Brown! And as an artist, the quality was SO much better than other lines. And I used them all. I think that this is more an "image" update than anything else. And maybe with the arrival of Katie Holmes as a celeb model, Bobbi is doing some updating. Hope you enjoy them!

  5. It's unreal, Appu. It appears you are correct. Why would this one be $10 more? Thanks for looking online. It wasn't there when I looked.

  6. Hi Eileen,

I just wish there were more colors!

  7. I don't, Nida. Often, it doesn't matter what shade the model is wearing. The studio lighting makes such things look way different from what they look like in real life.

I think some companies - not necessarily BB - lie when asked the question. They choose one of the latest, even though the artist may have added or blended other shades.

  8. Hi MamaVal,

I'm hoping one of my stores has them this weekend. I want to see and play in person!

  9. I just chatted with BB customer service online. The Sparkles are indeed $32. There are supposedly more Shimmerwash colors coming, but no idea on availability. So disappoint with Bobbi Brown lately.

  10. Hi Mamaval,

We can always agree to disagree. To paraphrase Mark Twain, "It's difference of opinion that makes a horse race." Or, in this case, enjoyment of a particular cosmetic line :-) I hope this turns out to be much more than just an image overhaul.

  11. Very nice shadows, but I have to call the elephant out in the room....the photo of Katie Holmes is terrible. The photo shopped picture was over done and barely looks like her.

  12. I am really looking forward to see in person the so-called "new" matt eyeshadow colors (some of them seem to be re-launches: camel, navy, khaki...) and certainly the shimmer wash ones. I personally think this is not a well coordinated action- how can they suddenly wipe out from the website all the shimmer wash colors and yet praise the 'fabulousness'of the formula with just 2 colors available?? And as for the sparkle ones, well colors look gorgeous but I don't really like the formula for regular use, so I am glad for all Bobbi Brown sparkle lovers!
