Each holiday season, Giorgio Armani Beauty creates special limited-edition value sets for giving. I have to admit I give them to myself. I can't part with them!I have already purchased two Lip Shimmer Gift Sets ($49). These Lip Shimmers would cost $79 if you purchased them separately. Armani always selects fabulous colors for these sets. This year the shades are #1, peach and #2, warm peach - not all that peach, actually very neutral - and #16, dusty pink. I adore them!
Another value set for the holidays is the Travel Brush Set ($100). Don't let the word "travel" mislead you. Mine stay firmly planted in my house. These brushes are the regular Ar
mani makeup brushes, but with shorter handles. This $203 value includes includes a blender brush, concealer brush, blush brush, eye shader brush, and contour brush. If you do travel, you will find their zippered pouch convenient. I know it may sound loony, but I buy one of these sets every year. They are just too good to pass up.The Armani Web site also has a Lip Wax Wardrobe ($59) and an Eye Gift Set ($69). Here's a little secret: the Eye Gift Set available at Saks is better. It includes the Eyes to Kill Mascara (love it), the Lash Primer, and a Liquid Liner ($49).
There is a fabulous skin care set exclusive to Saks. It includes three full-sized products: Crema Nera Regenerating Cream, Crema Nera Soothing Lotion, and Crema Nera Cleansing Balm, all inside a beautiful black jewelry box ($285). The products alone are worth $340. The jewelry box is an elegant bonus.
The Saks Fifth Avenue Web site has a gift with any $95 cosmetics purchase through November 8. Just enter GIORGIO2 at checkout. These special sets don't appear to be online at Saks yet, so you can call the Armani Beauty Team at Saks Chevy Chase at 240-497-5206 to place an order. It's hard to believe, but they are close to selling out of the eye and brush sets in Chevy Chase, so hurry if you are interested.
