Weekend Roundup - August 14

Fall beauty is showing up everywhere. I am always excited by fall collections, when vibrant colors come out to play. From fashion to cosmetics, fall energizes me.

Gaia, the The Non-Blonde, gave us her take on the newest limited-edition blush from Givenchy, Le Prisme Blush Blooming Fuchsias. See if the pretty packaging and beautiful colors captivate you too! Scroll down for my review. Like Gaia, I loved the blush. The pretty envelope packaging? I'd rather have the change back.

Have you been caught up in the Eat Pray Love craze? With the movie finally out, Kari from Fabulous Over Forty showed us how we can re-create Julia Robert's red carpet look from the movie premiere. Who wouldn't want to look like Julia Roberts?

Have you become a QVC beauty junkie? Anne interviewed QVC personality Staci Dickerson at BeautyXposé to learn what Staci does to get that summertime glow year round. You might be surprised by some of the products used in her beauty routine.

Kelly had amazing lash growth results from using Marini Lash by Jan Marini. See her shocking results at Gouldylox Reviews and enter to win your very own tube of Marini Lash.

All week, Amy gave us previews and comparisons of Chanel's newest high-shine lip glosses, Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss. See what she thinks of this latest addition to the Chanel lip craze at Café Makeup.

All dog lovers (well, all animal lovers) need to read Joey's account of Bare Escentual's new Buxom Stay-There Eyeshadow at Pink Sith.

And while we're on an animal theme, check out The Beauty Look Book for Sabrina's scoop on Paul and Joe's fall collection, complete with swans, cats, and pretty makeup!

Feet need some TLC? You may need to try Nupeel Natural Body Peeling Gel. Find out why Marcia and Lisa loved it at Beauty Info Zone.

The Clarisonic Opal has another big fan: Laurie at Product Girl. I have to go buy one of them!

I had an exciting week here at Best Things in Beauty, featuring Bobbi Brown's new Black Velvet Collection for fall. Bobbi created the Black Velvet colors to provide a strong look, but one that's pretty too. Scroll down to see it. Don't forget to enter the two giveaways ending tonight!

We hope you enjoy the last few weeks of summer!
