Weekend Roundup - May 14

What a week! Google Blogger had a major outage after a software "upgrade." By Thursday morning, there were significant issues. That afternoon, bloggers lost access to Blogger. The big freeze continued until late Friday afternoon. During Google's struggle to return Blogger to life, they reverted our blogs to a point in time Wednesday. Only later did they restore the features that had been lost (and the comments appear to be gone forever). That was an experience I hope we don't have again for a long time! Fortunately, before the chaos, we published some great new features for your weekend reading.

Gouldylox Reviews introduced the new Bare Escentuals summer eye shadows.
The Non-Blonde showed us her latest blush purchase, Rouge Bunny Rouge Florita Blush.
The Beauty Look Book featured the extraordinary luxury of Edward Bess eye and face brushes.
BeautyXposé gave us a look at the soft, pastel nail polishes in the Spring Garden Collection by Nubar.
Fab over Forty showed us how to recreate a stunning red carpet look from Penelope Cruz.
Café Makeup reviewed the Guerlain Terracotta Fusion cream eye shadows for Summer 2011.
Daly Beauty told us why Acqua di Parma is oh so beautiful.
Diva Debbi tried Rimmel's Lash Accelerator and shared the results.
Product Girl featured Dior’s Electric Tropics Collection for Summer 2011.

Here at Best Things in Beauty, Le Métier de Beauté's Mediterranean Holiday Summer 2011 Collection was the star of the show. Check out LMdB's Penelope Kaleidoscope Eye Kit and The Gods and Goddesses Nail Lacquers.

Happy weekend! I've got some catching up to do.
