Teaser Alert: New Chantecaille Goodies

There they were when I walked into Neiman Marcus Mazza Gallerie last night! Chantecaille's new introductions in play-ready mode. Jeannine Barnes made sure she had them to show us. I was careful not to drool on the museum-ready specimens.

You can already purchase that wonderful zebra-striped Kabuki Brush, made with goat hair. It's the perfect brush for applying Chantecaille's new HD Powder. I tried it out in the store and was blown away by the powder's effectiveness in giving me a soft, polished look.

The elephants? What can I say. Stunning makeup, good cause - how good does it get? You'll also want those two lipsticks and the lip gloss. If you missed my preview, just click here.

The eye palette has landed on our shores, but has not made its way to Chantecaille yet. I'm sure I've turned into a pest, asking multiple times a day, "Is it here yet?" I'll bet we'll have to wait only a few more days. I'll tweet its arrival at Chantecaille.com.

Want to pre-order? Give Jeannine a call at (202) 966-9700, extension 2289.

Update 10:45 am: L'Éléphant Palette is now available at Chantecaille.com.

  1. I have never tried anything by Chantecaille, but those elephants and that cause tempt me so much. If only my makeup budget was bigger. *sigh*

  2. Teaser, indeed! I can hardly wait to pick up this gorgeous autumnal collection. Amongst the many things I love about Chantecaille's collections are that they are small, cohesive, and revolve around a single theme. And, they're not released every month or so which seems to be the unfortunate trend amongst some of the major brands. Chantecaille's collections are truly special and worth all the anticipation.

I was very pleased to see that your photos reveal the products looking basically the same as they do in the promo pics. Sometimes there is such a huge disparity between the promos and the products in real life that I leave the counter disappointed. Not in this case. I love the color scheme: deep and warm autumn shades that bring to mind cool shade and patches of golden sunlight. This is a stunner for sure!

We all want a bigger budget!

  4. Hi Eileen,

I gasped when I saw them! So pretty!

Jeannine was trying not to swatch too much that the elephants would disappear. So I refrained from swatching last night. It was only fair.

  5. I was disappointed to see the shipping dates for the HD powder and the blush changed to mid-October and the lipstick to the end of September on the Neiman Marcus website. Oh well, I will have to console myself with the elephant palette. LOL!

  6. Hi Jo,

Chantecaille has confirmed for me that the other fall products will follow. Let's be optimistic it won't be that long. :)

  7. Are both of the Lip Chics in your photograph Isis? The bullets look too dark to be Amour. Thank you for the lovely snapshot, Charlestongirl. I can't wait to see the swatches.

  8. All my SA could get out was a gleeful: "It's for baby elephants!" :)

If I wasn't sold on the promo photos (and I was), her phone description (she had me at "baby elephants"), the gleaming photos here have me making a mental note to call her during business hours and reserve mine.

    Thanks as always!

  10. Hi Walls, sorry for my delay in responding. They are the two new ones, including Amour. In-store lighting is so bad for non-flash photos.

  11. Hi Tasa,

Sounds like she had good intentions. Maybe not a lot of training yet. :)

  12. Me too, Becca. Dying! I expect to buy four of them.

  13. The elephant palette is even better than I had expected. So wearable. My local Neiman Marcus got the HD powder, the blush, the palette and the Amour so far. Needless to say, I have indulged!
