Lancôme In Love Spring 2013 Color Collection

For spring, Lancôme is featuring intense color "to capture and compliment every woman's inner vibrancy." I got the e-mail announcement, so I assume you did too.

The Blush in Love ($49) captured my attention. It is available in two shades: Péche Joue-Joue (peach toned) and Pommettes d'Amour (categorized as a red).

Péche Joue-Joue (#10) is shown directly above. Pommettes d'Amour ($20) is shown below. Because of their price, I want to see them in person.

They are available at Lancôme's Web site, along with the rest of the spring collection. Looks like I'm going to have to make a trip to the mall.

  1. I feel the blush is a bit overpriced, even though they look pretty, just doesn't justify the $49 a pop...or is it just me?

  2. I think they are pricey too, Ginny. That's why I want to try before I buy.

  4. When I first saw pictures of all the colors that are going to be in this collection, my first thought was that we're in for a whole lot of color. My second thought was that I'm a decade or two or three or four too old for this look. LOL. I do think; however, that for a young woman with warm coloring and an adventurous spirit, that there are a number of eye colors that would look cheerful and fun. I can easily envision a college co-ed out for a good time during spring break. I think that Emma is the perfect face for this collection: young, smart, and a bit fierce. I do think; however, that this collection will appeal to a different demographic than what Lancôme usually targets and so some of its regular customers might be a bit let down.

  5. I am ever so curious about the peach blush. Would love your feedback C-Girl if this would be good for rosacea cheeks.

  6. Hi
Im not 'feeling' this collection. The look is very drugstore looking (sorry drugstore brands) and circa 80's. Unless these colours are WOW in person I think they have missed the mark with this onw!

  7. I will, LilJeja, but I'm not sure I will buy it. I'll swatch in the store if I don't.

  8. Hey there, Eileen,

The colors are described as bold/intense. If they are, these shades aren't going to work for me. Odd - yes - about the target market. I hope we aren't seeing the beginning of a new "trend."

  9. Hi Vancouver Chic,

Will let you know once I see it. In general, peach would be a good shade.

  10. Yuck! I will save my money for Chanel and I am going to order the Dior eyequad you featured the other day.

  11. Hi Mary Ann,

I'm not willing to rule them out until I see them. They do look bold on Emma, but that may have been due to the MUA's interpretation of the look.
