Coming Very Soon: Le Métier de Beauté Body Firming & Toning Serum

Le Métier de Beauté's Body Firming & Toning Serum ($135) is a revolutionary treatment product designed to smooth and tighten the skin. The breakthrough formula is a concentrated blend of antioxidants and moisturizers, including scientifically proven firming agents such as caffeine and forskolin (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forskolin), which refine and contour, creating a slimmer silhouette.

After just 28 days of use, 87% of participants in an independent study reported seeing an improvement to their skin’s visible firmness and smoothness, and the bumps and dimples associated with cellulite diminished by an average of 38%. After 56 days of use, visible cellulite had diminished by a dramatic 57% (as determined in a 2012 Consumer Study USA, validated scientific assessment).

How does it work? While most skin-care products remain on the skin’s surface, resulting in little visible change, Body Firming & Toning Serum harnesses a proprietary TPM delivery system derived from natural Vitamin E phosphates, allowing for higher absorption and enhanced penetration of the key ingredients. The TPM delivery system, discovered in 2002 and protected by more than 28 patents, is clinically and scientifically proven to enhance the absorption of key ingredients, resulting in greater, more noticeable results.

Results are promised to be visible and measurable when used as directed. Massage a small amount onto problem areas using a circular motion, and apply it twice daily. It is said to visibly firm and smooth the hips, thighs, and buttocks; tone and slim the midsection; and tighten and lift the appearance of skin in the neck and arm regions.

I am always skeptical of body firming and toning products. Because I believe in Le Métier de Beauté, I'm anxious to try this one. First, I need to find some fat or slack skin. Maybe my waistline?

  1. The only way--ONLY--way to firm and tone your body is to work out. Period.

  2. Hi Charlestongirl,

I got a laugh out of the end of your post and have this vision of you frantically inspecting your petite body trying to find an ounce of fat. LOL

    Hi Nemo,

I'm with you on this one although lotions and potions for the body can certainly give the skin an overall softer feel and a smoother more even appearance. As for firmness and tone--exercise!

  3. Hi, i'm from Australia where this product was developed, and has been on sale for some time now.

It really does work, and I urge all of you to try it...the results will make you very happy.

And to Nemo...this is a skin toner, not a muscle toner.

  4. This is interesting news. I do believe products can tighten, tone, refine...in other words {affect} the SKIN, which is the claim here. I think both the claims for the product and Nemo's comment are correctly phrased and without conflict.

Why I'm excited though is because of the delivery system.

TPM is proprietary, patented and undergoing other trials for topical delivery of other things like tretinoin.

TDD, transdermal drug delivery is becoming more researched for skin concerns. The problem for a while now is not that ingredients weren't effective enough in many cases but flawed in the delivery system to do anything but sit on the skin, using barrier technology and affecting only the outermost superficial layers. Micro and especially nano technology could change that.
This may be a push forward.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, I think others would too.
I really enjoy following your blog.
