Le Métier de Beauté Saks Fifth Avenue Fall 2013 Dominique Kaleidoscope Eye Kit - Plus More News

The Dominique Kaleidoscope Eye Kit ($95) is exclusive to Saks Fifth Avenue. It is in the company's Look For Fall Fantasy September Beauty catalog, which arrived last week.

I know that there have been comments here about ordering this from Neiman Marcus. I don't know how. It's a Saks exclusive.

I don't have a press description of the shades yet, but they appear to be a pretty peach, lavender, sparkling/snazzy pink, and periwinkle. I'm very curious about it. I wish there were a Saks in the DC area where I could go see it.

There's more in store from Le Métier de Beauté. This week (probably Wednesday or Thursday), the company is launching two-ounce Peau Vierge tubes in shades #2 and #3.  Customers requested an easier-to-carry tube that they could throw into their bags, so Le Métier de Beauté came up with a two-ounce tube for convenience.  It will hit all Le Métier de Beauté counters this week.  It's the same great product, but now available in a larger size and different packaging for $175.00 (one ounce is still $125.00). Pretty cool, huh?

I can't tell you how disappointed I am at Neiman's Mazze. I placed an order for the new kaleidoscope. I spent over $300 and not only was my nudity liner missing but I didn't get my free lipstick or spot corrector. I made sure to place my order with Michael Reinhardt as you had suggested. I hope when he comes in tomorrow, he can rectify the situation.

Anahita, I am sure he will. I'm not sure what Nudity liner you mean - did you order one? He can still provide the lipstick and spot corrector. I wonder who he gave your order to to fulfill. You can bet he didn't do it himself. I will e-mail him now.

Christina, I can't publish that. Those photos are so bad, I think it would be a disservice to draw attention to them.

I truly doubt that is how they actually look.

You said, "I know it's a fall palette, but a peach, lilac, sparkling plum, and periwinkle palette sounds divine!" Ditto to your comment.

No worries! I'm hoping they don't look that way, either! I'll keep stalking the Saks counters and will share pics if I end up seeing it! :)

It was me who commented about ordering this from Neimans...and I offer my apologies. My SA misinformed me and I received a call yesterday that my order did in fact only include Carnaby Street. She offered her apologies to me and to all who I (embarrassingly) misinformed. I was able to add Donimgue to my Saks order and all is well now. Again, I apologize. Nothing like this has ever happened before and I usually take my SA's info as gospel. I am so taken aback by it all and I hope I didn't cause too much trouble. I guess I need to remember they are as human as the rest of us. Nevertheless, despite me wanting to hide my head in total embarrassment, I am super excited about the Kaleidoscopes I (finally) have coming and hope you enjoy yours as well!!

Hi, CG! Would the Saks at Tysons Galleria not carry it?

WOW! I was thinking the NM and Saks exclsives would be similar but they could not be more different. Carnaby St. is all about neutrals and Dominique is a big burst of color! I'm impressed with both!

CG - I was also thinking about the Saks in Tyson's Galleria or the one in Chevy Chase.

No Saks stores near me, Chevy or Tysons, have LMdB. Darn shame!

Hi Charlestongirl,

I am in Houston, Texas and was wondering if I could get this shipped to a Saks eventhough my local Saks store does not have an LMdB stand?

It looks super pretty!! I have seen Carnaby Street but I think I want this one more :)

Thanks!
