Once again this year, Bobbi Brown was a proud sponsor of The Heart Truth Red Dress Collection Fashion Show. The Red Dress Fashion Show brought some of Hollywood’s leading ladies together on one runway to benefit heart health. This year's show took place at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week on February 8.
Bobbi created an exclusive, limited-edition Classic to Go Palette in support of The Heart Truth's efforts to raise awareness about women and heart disease. Featuring three universally flattering Eye Shadows, two Lip Colors, and a mini High Shimmer Lip Gloss, this palette is the perfect purse companion. For a day or night look on the go, it will fit just about any occasion.
The palette features a specially designed package and the tagline "Listen to Your Heart." A small quantity of the limited-edition sets was available at www.bobbibrown.com for $25. That's where I bought mine. Today, I can't find it at Bobbi's site, so I'm wondering if it sold out quickly. If it did, it would be a shame because the set is so nice for on-the-go beauty. Maybe Bobbi Brown will make more of them.
It's the top "lip level" that won my heart. The mini Naked Plum High Shimmer Lip Gloss is drop-dead gorgeous. Having a small one to keep in my purse is exciting. The Pale Mauve and Tulle Lip Colors are two of Bobbi's most popular shades. Look at all three in my swatch photo below, taken in full sun (but with a trace of snow on the ground!). Pale Mauve Lip Color is at the top of my arm, Tulle Lip Color is below, and Naked Plum High Shimmer Lip Gloss is at the bottom.
The eye shades are Bobbi classics. You probably won't be able to see Bone Eye Shadow at the top of my arm. I can barely see it. Cement, a fawn shade is in the middle, and Caviar Eye Shadow, a perfect liner, is at the bottom.
Fortunately, these shades are all available at Bobbi Brown counters and Bobbi's Web site. Even if the Classic to Go Palette is sold out forever, you can purchase the individual shades if you see something you like. I already have the full-sized Naked Plum High Shimmer Lip Gloss, but I'm thrilled to have the mini.

Bobbi's palettes are perfect. It's easy to choose when they work so well in one's bag. Now, how do I choose tonight's TV lineup when faced with 1. The Grammys, 2. Bobbi Brown on QVC, and 3. Downton Abbey??? (and no DVR)
MamaVal, Downton Abbey is repeated here on Thursday nights. You have to see the Whitney tribute at the Grammy Awards.
The shades in this little palette are so useful. It's the kind of gem that's perfect for the office desk drawer.
I have this palette but it is not in the Heart Truth packaging from the holiday collection - it's great! I'm a big fan of the Naked Plum gloss included in it.
Hey there, Regina! Isn't Naked Plum the cat's meow!
I'm not following the holiday connection. The BB photo in the post was supplied by BB.
