Spotlight on Dior Collection - Exclusive to Saks Fifth Avenue

Look what I found at Saks Fifth Avenue Chevy Chase! The Spotlight on Dior Collection, exclusive to Saks. My eyes were drawn to the Dior Vernis and eye shadow shades.

I'm really disappointed that my camera did not get an adequate color representation of the eye shadow shade #230, Cruise, on the far right. It is divine - a light, minty green that reminded me of Chanel's Illusion d'Ombre in Rivière, an exquisite pastel green. You should be able to click on my photo above to enlarge it and read the shade colors. They are all true in color - except for my favorite, Cruise.

Here is the Dior photo (below) you can see at Saks Fifth Avenue online. They couldn't photograph Cruise either. They made it look blue.

Also at Dior...My friend Loyd Cassler loves the Flash Corrector Pen ($25). This pen corrects little slips and makeup glitches in a second. With one sweep this high precision corrector erases, adjusts, and corrects eyeliner jolts, mascara "spills," and lipstick mistakes. It's delivered with three refills. On one side, there's a black pencil, and the other side is an eraser. Loyd demonstrated it for me. He took a black pencil and drew it all over his hand and then erased it - like magic!

Hi CG, those Dior colors are gorgeous. Thanks for sharing. While cruising Zuneta, I noticed that they are selling a LMdB k-scope called Moonstone Rose. Do you know if this is new or a repromote?

Flash corrector pen seems like a promising product. I love the spotlight collection.

Anomymous, it was the second lip Kaleidoscope ever - from back in 2008.

Hi Nida,

I couldn't believe it! It really did erase all the black.

Hi CG, I must see "Cruise" in person, sounds like the perfect minty-green shade for summer. Re. the eraser product, is it a makeup remover in a tube? A very interesting product.

The eraser/corrector pen sounds gr8. What a thoughtful invention!

Claire,

I don't really know what how eraser is composed. I didn't see any remover on Loyd's hand. It acted like a pencil eraser.

Hi Dollie,

Loyd was very impressed. I looked at him and said, "What am I going to do with that? I don't make mistakes." :)
