Dior Addict Ultra Gloss Reflect

What's in your makeup bag?

I never leave home without Dior's Addict Ultra Gloss Reflect ($25.50). My daily favorite color? Lurex Plum #877, described as a soft plum with multi-colored micro glitter. I don't understand the description. Lurex Plum has no apparent glitter. It does have shine - lots of shine. The color swatch on Sephora makes it look more purple than it is. I would describe it as a plummy rose.

I usually wear it over lipstick. It enhances or transforms any color because it has enough pigment to stand alone. Not only that, it feels great - weightless and not at all tacky. Creamy delight!

I can't count the compliments and questions I have received when wearing this gloss. It's one of the colors I'm hoarding. Other favorites, all with a different look? Chiffon Beige #227, Jersey Pink #157, and Linen Beige #317.

My advice? Rush right to Seprora or your favorite department store so you can give one a try!

Sounds like a fantastic color. I'll have to check it out. Love Dior Lipglosses!

I have to say I wasn't as impressed with these glosses as I thought I'd be. I recently bought the Beige Velvet shade, and I love the color, but I guess for the price, I was expecting to be blown away by this product. Honestly, I have cheaper lip glosses than this one that I think are better! I don't think I'd buy another.

Ooops, comment removed due to a cut and paste error!

Hi Emma, that's why we have a bazillion lip glosses out there! We are all different - and that's a great thing for lip gloss makers. :) It's fabulous that you have found glosses you like that are less expensive. I keep trying, but...

I think the price is based on the fact that it's Dior, not some special effect that you can't achieve with another gloss. I have Armani glosses that I also carry with me, and I love them too. I plan to review them soon.

I love glosses without any overt taste or smell, so the Dior and Armani glosses fit that bill for me.

Hey Fab, I've seen your photo on your blog - you will look great in Lurex Plum.
